Curb Your Enthusiasm Poised to End With Season 12 at HBO?

It seems that the end is near for the beloved HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm. In a tweet that has since been deleted, Curb producer Jon Hayman hinted that the upcoming 12th season may be the show’s final season. Hayman shared a behind-the-scenes photo and wrote, “Maybe you love the show. Maybe you hate the show. Maybe you don’t give a s–t. In any event, shooting the last scene of the last episode of the final season.”

While HBO has yet to comment on Hayman’s tweet, it was previously announced in August that Curb would be returning for its 12th season. The show’s 11th season wrapped up on December 26, 2021.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, which stars and is created by Larry David, has been a fan favorite since its debut in 2000. The show has won multiple awards over the years, including two Golden Globe Awards and a Peabody Award.

HBO is currently facing the end of two other Emmy-winning series: Succession and Barry. However, fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm can take comfort in the fact that Larry David has previously stated that he would be open to doing another season if the opportunity presented itself.

In a joint statement with HBO earlier this year, David joked, “Playing the role of Larry David has been the greatest honor of my life. In researching this multi-faceted, multi-talented man, I discovered that there’s more to him than I ever could have imagined: He speaks six languages, brines his own pickles, and spearheads a national movement to install a bidet in every home. I’ve also been told from numerous sources that he is the most generous of lovers. I am so excited to once again transform into this force of nature. I only pray that I can do him justice.”

As fans eagerly await the premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm’s 12th season, they can only hope that the show will continue on for many more seasons to come.
