Actor Carry Dies Harry Leslie Phillips Potter

The British actor known for his roles in the Harry Potter Y Continue franchises, passed away on Monday after a long illness. Leslie Phillips,  was 98.

His agent, Jonathan Lloyd, confirmed to Deadline that Phillips died peacefully in his sleep.

Phillips began acting in the 1930s and had a brilliant career on stage and screen, appearing in a number of British films. Continue comedies of the 20th century and as the voice of the Sorting Hat in the Harry Potter Films.
