Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig, who co-starred in Dream House and stage productions, have no immediate plans to work together again. Weisz, who is currently playing twins in Dead Ringers, shared in an interview with Willie Geist for Sunday TODAY that the couple loves their private life and wants to continue balancing their work separately. They share a 4-year-old daughter and Weisz’s teen son, as well as Craig’s adult daughter from a previous relationship.

Weisz also spoke about her experience with fame to the U.K.’s Observer, saying that she doesn’t find the attention difficult or oppressive. She credits their established family unit for helping them maintain privacy. While recognizing the privilege that comes with her career in acting, she says that fame doesn’t dominate her life.

When asked about having a child at age 48, Weisz noted that she didn’t notice much criticism. She says that perhaps it was because she and Craig were tired and in a bubble when their daughter was born. She also disputed her level of fame after her breakout role in The Mummy, saying that she couldn’t attend the premieres of the film and its sequel because she was busy with stage roles and didn’t get recognized much for the film.

Weisz also talked about sharing the stage with her spouse, saying that while they enjoyed the experience, they prefer to alternate so that one can stay home with the family while the other works. She says that it’s probably less ideal for them to both work at the same time.
